How to read and erase obd2 fault codes on BMW Vehicle by Vident ilink400.
Connect Vident iLink400 to the vehicle
Enter ilink400 BMW main menu
Select “OBDII” and press OK key to connect
It will show system status
Press OK key to enter “Diagnostic Menu”
There are 12 options below:
System Status
Read Codes
Erase Codes
Live Data
Freeze Frame
I/M Readness
O2 Monitor Test
On-Board Monitor Test
Component Test
Vehicle info
Modules Present
DTC Lockup
Read Codes
Click “Pending Codes”
A message shows “Manufacturer specific codes are found. Please select the vehicle manufacturer”
Select “BMW”to see the trouble codes
Then erase codes
Done!
